Bayou Cane Apartment Homes Now Accepting Families at Houma Complex

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Friday, July 24, 2015

Volunteers of America and Renaissance Neighborhood Development Corporation have opened a new apartment community on Synergy Center Boulevard in Terrebonne Parish.

Bayou Cane Apartment Homes, which feature amenities developed around the natural environment, has 82 one- and two-bedroom garden-style apartment homes.  Approximately half of the units have already been leased, and the organization is eager to complete leasing.

"Bayou Cane is our newest affordable living community for working families and one of the most unique," said Jim LeBlanc, President/CEO of Volunteers of America Greater New Orleans.  "All our properties are designed with resident needs in mind, but the site of Bayou Cane lends itself to an atmosphere that is truly inspiring.  With a nature trail, pond, community deck and dog park all on-site, it's an inviting atmosphere for our residents."
