Cardiovascular Institute Hosts Christmas Party for Academy Place Seniors

Volunteers of America Greater New Orleans and The Cardiovascular Institute of the South hosted a Christmas party on December 19, 2017, for the residents at Academy Place, Volunteers of America’s senior housing facility in Houma. The event was part of the agency’s Christmas Wish program, whereby the organization collects and distributes gifts to consumers in need who may not have otherwise received a Christmas gift this holiday season. The Cardiovascular Institute of the South sponsored Academy Place, providing all the gifts and hosting the holiday party.
