***POST-PHOTO RELEASE***

The first time that Joseph Hyland Authement visited Volunteers of America Greater New Orleans’ Olympia Group Home in New Orleans, he was immediately impacted by the spirit of its residents. The Olympia Group Home is a local facility that assists individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, helping them live full and meaningful lives. Ever since his first encounter, Joseph has continued to foster lasting friendships with residents and staff members at the home and has continuously looked for ways to give back. After accepting a position as Senior Vice President of Sales at Xenex Disinfection Services, Joseph saw a perfect opportunity to contribute to the health of Olympia residents. On October 22, during International Infection Prevention Week, Joseph donated the services of a Xenex Germ-Zapping Robot, which provides effective, full spectrum UV disinfection to ensure residents remain healthy during cold and flu season.
