First Lady Congratulates Our Veterans Program

On Monday, April 20, New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu and First Lady of New Orleans Cheryl Landrieu hosted First Lady Michelle Obama to celebrate the city's progress on the Mayors Challenge to End Veterans Homelessness. Volunteers of America was among the honored guests that Obama congratulated for helping house more than 200 veterans last year as part of the initiative in New Orleans.
